Editorial<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Dear Readers,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am pleased to announce the publication of the fourth issue of the scientific and professional journal SWARM \u2013 Safety, Work And Rescue Magazine<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we were finalizing this issue, we were saddened by the tragic accident of En\u010d\u00ed \u2013 Jan En\u010dev at the Hranice Abyss. In the aftermath, the media described him as \u201ca member of the Central Fire Station in Kladno, an elite SAR operator, a firefighter and an experienced cave diver.<\/em>\u201d He undoubtedly was all of these, but he was much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was a rope-access technician as well as a commercial diver. He was also a creator of funny scribbles and \u201crough, approximate quick sketches<\/em>\u201d of newly explored spaces, accompanied by the note that \u201canything could have been missed anywhere<\/em>.\u201d He would then turn these sketches into complete maps of the explored areas on his computer, often including 3D models. In more than one flooded mine, he discovered spaces that were not even shown on the mine maps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was a tireless explorer for whom obstacles along the way were never the final stop, but merely an incentive to change his strategy for overcoming them. The video of his diving exploration of the Ponikelsk\u00e1 Cave is, after all, clear evidence of this. In addition, he created a \u201cphoto comic\u201d about this expedition, which was \u201cremoved from the website by the censors for being inappropriate.<\/em>\u201d An extraordinary person, a joker and a friend has left us, and I would like to dedicate this issue of SWARM to his memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To nepochybn\u011b byl, ale byl i mnohem v\u00edc. Byl v\u00fd\u0161kov\u00fdm pracovn\u00edkem i pracovn\u00edm pot\u00e1p\u011b\u010dem. Byl kresli\u010dem srandovn\u00edch \u010dm\u00e1ranic a \u201ep\u0159ibli\u017en\u00fdch nep\u0159esn\u00fdch rychlon\u00e1\u010drt\u016f\u201c \u010derstv\u011b prozkouman\u00fdch prostor s pozn\u00e1mkou, \u017ee \u201ekdekoliv mohlo bejt cokoliv p\u0159ehl\u00e9dnuto\u201c, a n\u00e1sledn\u011b na po\u010d\u00edta\u010di vytv\u00e1\u0159el cel\u00e9 mapy dan\u00fdch prostor, mnohdy i 3D. V\u00a0nejednom zatopen\u00e9m dole objevil prostory, kter\u00e9 nebyly zachyceny ani na d\u016fln\u00edch map\u00e1ch. Byl ne\u00fanavn\u00fdm pr\u016fzkumn\u00edkem, pro kter\u00e9ho p\u0159ek\u00e1\u017eky na trase nebyly kone\u010dnou zast\u00e1vkou, ale pouze podn\u011btem ke zm\u011bn\u011b strategie p\u0159i jejich p\u0159ekon\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed. Ostatn\u011b video z\u00a0jeho pot\u00e1p\u011b\u010dsk\u00e9ho pr\u016fzkumu Ponikelsk\u00e9 jeskyn\u011b je toho jasn\u00fdm d\u016fkazem.
