Aims & Scope
SWARM – Safety, Work And Rescue Magazine is an international scientific peer-reviewed online journal that focuses not only on the theory and research related to work and rescue in heights and underwater environments but especially on their practical applications. The journal publishes relevant and current original researches in the fields of occupational safety, work at heights, scuba and commercial diving, rescue operations, and related activities.

The journal SWARM is published at least twice a year, once in the first half and once in the second half of the year.
SWARM accepts articles in English, Czech, or Slovak. Articles are published based on the evaluation of two independent reviewers using the “double-blind peer review” method. Only original articles that have not been published elsewhere are accepted.

No charges, no fees
Neither submission fees nor APC (article processing charges) are charged for publication or article processing. Authors do not pay to have published in SWARM.
Open Access
SWARM is an open-access journal, meaning that all content is freely available to users and their institutions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, print, link to, or search the full texts of articles in SWARM without requiring prior permission from the publisher or the author.
Copyright
By submitting a manuscript to be published in SWARM, authors agree that copyright remains with the authors, while granting the journal SWARM the right of first publication. Additionally, their work is licensed under the international Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing others to share the work with attribution to the author and the initial publication in the journal SWARM.
